Old School Graffiti

Had the opportuniy this past weekend to be a part of history: Sanger High ASB/Interact clubs needed some Jeeps to cart students and equipment up to Camel Back Mountain to repaint the Sanger S! Great group of kids... a little hot though for painting. We even had a fly-by from RP.

Bald Mountain - We Made it!!!

The trail to Bald Mountain is surely one of the easiest yet, during the winter months it can be very challenging. We were lucky enough to get in. Got some great pictures from the trip we took yesterday!

Bulls, Bulls, Bulls

On July 19, 2006 our beloved Rosey - aka the Bull Queen - gave birth to 8 healthy bull pups. While Rosey recovered from her cesarian section, the Paliughi team took over staying up night after night to care for the new additions. Two weeks after birth, we lost 2 of the litter to what we later found out was milk inhalation. This devastating experience just furthered our resolve to keep and maintain the health of the remaining 6 bulldogs. Seven months after the delivery, we still have 3 pups, while we had planned on keeping only one, the bond we formed with 3 of the pups could not be severed.

Another Paliughi Honored

As per usual, another Paliughi has been honored. Alecia, who was already identified for her hard work in 2005 has received the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) award for school psychologist of the year for 2007. In true Paliughi fashion, Alecia asserts that she does not deserve the award and believes there are others out there who would be a better choice for the award. Humility, a trait that is espoused by real Paliughis.

Wheelin in 07

Well, I have found a new diversion, 4-wheeling. Bought a Jeep Rubicon and of course could not be content with what the factory provided so with the help of some friends, modified the jeep!

Check out the my jeep helpers over at www.caljeeps.com for wit and information.

A new adventure...

Originally uploaded by dpaliughi.
Part of the reason for our absence from the web is a small little elementary school in Sanger California. One of the Paliughi's has been spending a lot of his time there. Wonder kids and a great community, it truly is a new Paliughi adventure.

Puff it up...

The Road to Davis...

Well, Casey's almost gone. We moved him into his new residence in East Davis. While not everything he had fit in his room, the move went pretty smooth. Please keep him in your prayers as he ventures into collegiate life.
